Fated Black-Hearted Souls - A Wyler Fanfiction & Redemption Arc
Most writers will tell you we write for fun. Not for cash and not for clout. Purely to sate our own innermost desires and to stop the nagging voice in our head telling us, “Do it! DO IT! DOOOO IT!” While I do have eight books (and counting) available for sale at online retailers, I also have something I’m working on and posting about that I HAD to write that is strictly for my own entertainment (and hopefully yours!). Color me obsessed, but I’m addicted to the idea of Wednesday Addams and Tyler Galpin having a passionate and epic romance. Am I nerd? An obsessed fangirl? Hell yes to both, babe.
That being said, I introduce to you my Wyler (Wednesday x Tyler) Fanfiction: Fated Black-Hearted Souls - A Wyler Fanfiction & Redemption Arc:
While on the hunt for Enid, Wednesday finds herself in Hyde territory during an impending winter storm. The last person she expects to come to her rescue is the Hyde she set free and gave a second chance to in Iago Tower: Tyler Galpin. Tyler never expected to see Wednesday again, but after witnessing her nearly be shredded by Hydes, he vows to save and protect his merciful ex.
Between surviving Camp Hyde, the rumored beast in the woods, returning to Nervermore and Willow Hill, and saving Enid, Tyler and Wednesday's relationship is constantly challenged and interrupted (partly thanks to Fester). Both must fight for what they truly want and for each other.
In this enemies-to-lovers, second chance Wyler fanfiction romance, Tyler Galpin gets a second chance at being a hero and overcoming his past and the mistakes he made. Wednesday has the chance to see the part she played in Tyler's villain story and to overcome her own insecurities and fears. Both are given the opportunity to start over and be together without secrets, vendettas, or ulterior motives hanging over the relationship.
Written from a present-tense, dual POV, we get to get inside both character's minds. POVs switch between chapters. New chapters to be uploaded weekly. Links are below.

Maybe it’s the soft dark romance girl in me, but I’ve been in stitches over a Tyler/Wednesday romance since season 1 came out in 2022. He was like the golden retriever to her black cat. Wednesday has walls up - for good reason ‘cause the world is indeed a cruel place (as Mother Gothel rightfully said) - but I’m a romantic at heart and wanted Tyler to EARN tearing down her walls and be her “pillaging the world together” beau. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a villain, but I fully believe that boy was NOT faking desiring Wednesday. He definitely didn’t fake that kiss at Weathervane. The whole torturing him bit probably buried Tyler beneath his Hyde persona, which I do explain in my Fanfic. Tyler deserves a redemption arc, so I gave him one. He and Wednesday also deserve a happily-ever-after, and I am a romance author with the power to provide that for them. Paranormal Romance/Monster Romance is my specialty, as is writing from the POV of a tortured MMC (male main character).
I was itching to write a story for them. To give Tyler another chance to be a hero and not constantly manipulated and abused. To give Wednesday a chance to take a look in the mirror and realize her part in that abuse (e.g. torturing him for information rather than having a heart-to-heart, and then attempting to inject him with a plant-derived chemical to MAKE him succumb to her as his new master). BOTH are things Laurel did - torture, manipulation, forcing herself on him as a master. Even his own mother took away his autonomy when she went against his wishes to de-hyde him at Iago Tower. His uncle didn’t care whether he lived or died. His father loved him, but he kept secrets and shut his son out in many ways. I wanted to touch base on so many topics, and I do in my story.
